Compared to e-commerce, wholesale seems much more of a black box for fashion CEOs, especially those of us just starting out.
So this Wholesale 101 series is meant to give you a primer for how to “do” wholesale, because it is an important element for many of us to get to the $1MM mark.

This is the good stuff!!! Now that we’re prepped (see Part 1, and Part 2.1), today I’m diving into the tools and assets we need to launch successfully in wholesale, including sharing some of my best tips and tricks to get buyers attention.
I told you there’s a lot to a successful wholesale program!!
OK let’s break it down.
TOOLS:
There are some key tools you need to have prepared for wholesale, to send to owners and buyers. Namely, your linesheets, lookbooks and samples.
LINESHEETS:
This is the backbone of your selling arsenal. Buyers will 100% ask to see your linesheets if they’re interested in moving this conversation forward towards a Purchase Order (aka a P.O.). Linesheets cover all the important information a buyer needs to know to purchase your goods.
There are several very important things you need to include in your linesheet to come across as a legit brand that has their shit together, and remember, you only get one chance to make a first impression, so MAKE IT A GOOD ONE. Here they are:
